Are you unable to host, but still want to connect with World Link and our international students? Fill out the form at the bottom of the page and sign up to be a World Link volunteer! There are many ways you can help our local coordinators and become an integral part of a World Link student’s exchange year!

You can volunteer to:
Help with Local Events: World Link local coordinators plan various volunteering and events throughout the year. Volunteers can offer to help find event spaces, provide a meal, give students a ride, or suggest event opportunities to the local coordinator.
Spread the Word: World Link local coordinators are always needing people in the community to help spread the word about our program, especially during the spring and summer months. Volunteers can post flyers, share social media posts, recommend people in their network as good host families, and help staff World Link promotional booths during community events.
Be a Mentor: Some World Link students may need some extra help during their year. Volunteers can tutor a student struggling in a certain subject. A host family may need a volunteer to take their student for a night or weekend. A volunteer can offer to open their home as a backup host family, giving the volunteer and their family and opportunity to learn about a new culture.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with World Link students. Once your form is submitted, we will be happy to connect you with a local coordinator in your area. If there is not a local coordinator near you, we will reach out to discuss alternative options.
